This year I've hardly noticed Spring's existence as the temperature outside jumped from 30 degrees to 90 so quickly. In Amherst, all the flowers bloomed right around the same time and it's left a faint aroma in the air, but you have to smell it underneath all the layers of pollution, stinky people, garbage, and other kinds of smells that burn harder with the heat. Petal Fleshing's aim is to capture the rapidly changing seasons and explore the feeling of smelling the fragrace of flowers trying to coverup the smell of people.
